The ICT programme is designed for the beginner with no formal IT qualification.
It will help you to understand the basics of ICT, and you can gain skills in: Displaying Information Using ICT.
The programme is delivered over 2 days at our Learner Centre.
The programme, which is tutor led, will give you the skills and confidence you need to use computers and software packages.
Having IT skills could be the perfect way to improve your job prospects or just to help you feel more comfortable using a computer in your spare time.
If you:
- Have no formal IT qualification
- Are a Jobseeker and actively looking for work
- Can use a mouse and keyboard
- Are redundant or at risk of redundancy
- Working 16 hours per week or less
Then this IT programme is for you, and you can learn how to:
- Use a computer safely
- Create documents
- Enter data
- Select images and insert in document
- Print and save documents
- Align and format text
- Shut down the computer system
The classes are small, with no more than 8 learners at any one time.
