What Our Clients Say ...
“ I was constantly being turned down for job interviews because of my lack of I.T. skills. I went on a Solomon Training course to improve my skills, it was very good, and I highly recommend it. I am now attending interviews, and am confident I will soon be offered a job.” Matthew Morris - I. T. learner| Everyday English Skills - Vocabulary, Spelling & Grammar (Level 2) |

Being able to form sentences correctly and apply basic grammar and punctuation rules can make the difference between someone clearly understanding your text or not having a clue what you mean! This course will help you to improve the key skills you need to get your message across clearly. You’ll learn how to use complex sentences to add variety and interest to your writing. You’ll be shown how to ensure the verb and subject ‘agree’, how to select the correct tense and how to use pronouns to make your message clear. You’ll look at the use of apostrophes, inverted commas and commas in a variety of texts. You’ll be shown techniques to help you 'decode' the meaning of technical terms used in specialist texts and you’ll explore how writers enrich text by using similes, metaphors, antonyms, synonyms and idioms.
