If you sometimes struggle to choose the right words, or find it difficult to write your ideas down clearly, this course will help you to brush up on key word, spelling and grammar skills.

You’ll learn about different sorts of sentences and the correct way to write in complete sentences. You’ll learn about verbs - how to make the verb and the subject of the sentence agree and how to use different verb tenses. You’ll be shown the right way to use punctuation to make written texts easier to read and understand. You’ll discover how words are ‘built’ and how this can help you to understand even unfamiliar words. And you’ll be given lots of tips and rules to help improve your spelling.

As you move through the course, mini tests let you check that you’ve understood the learning and give you the chance to practise your new word skills in realistic, everyday situations.
