The learndirect on-line English course takes on average between 3 hours and 10 hours to complete, but this time scale varies from person to person.
You can study anywhere that you have access to the Internet.
Because the course is available online, you can study at a time and place that suits you, from the comfort of your home in the day or evening or at weekends, in your workplace during lunch breaks, during quiet periods or at our Learner Centre in Swindon.
Each course is broken down into bite- sized chunks of learning, making it easier to understand. You can take things at your own pace and dip in and out of the course whenever you wish.
The course is designed for you to work towards and complete a Certificate in Adult Literacy (Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3)
Certificates are nationally recognised and measure skills up to the same level as GCSE in grade A-C.
Receiving a certificate at the end of your course gives you a great sense of achievement - and it would look good on your CV!
